The French parliament did not express no confidence in the government

The French National Assembly rejected two votes of no confidence in the government, which were put forward by the opposition group "LIOT" and Marine Le Pen's "National Union" party, after the attempt of the cabinet of ministers to implement pension reforms without a vote in the parliament.

278 MPs voted in favor of the "LIOT" document, and 94 people voted in favor of the "National Union" proposal. Two hundred eighty-seven votes were needed to express no confidence. The French government yesterday invoked an article in the constitution that allows a law to be passed without a vote if the cabinet remains after a motion of no confidence.
