The US Deputy Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, Karen Donfried, will leave her post at the end of March. The Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, announced this.
"On behalf of the State Secretariat, I thank Kearney for her outstanding service and wish her continued success in his future endeavors," said Blinken.
He added that Donfried skillfully dealt with Washington's relations with several important US allies. Donfried held this position for 18 months.
