According to the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, on March 20, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will meet with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan in Moscow.
"On March 20, the Russian Foreign Minister will hold talks with the Armenian Foreign Minister, who will arrive in Moscow on a working visit," Zakharova said at the briefing.
According to Zakharova, during the negotiations, the ministers will discuss "steps aimed at the further development of bilateral cooperation, issues of strengthening cooperation in common integration associations: CIS, EAEU, CSTO."
"The discussion will focus on regional issues, including the settlement of the situation around the Lachin Corridor and, in general, the implementation of the tripartite agreements between Russia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan on the issue of Nagorno-Karabakh. We expect that the upcoming meeting will contribute to increasing the quality of the dialogue with Yerevan and work aimed at strengthening security and stability in the South Caucasus," added Zakharova.
