The head of the Pentagon commented on the telephone conversation with Shoigu

On the initiative of the American side, a telephone conversation took place between the Ministers of Defense of the Russian Federation and the United States, Sergey Shoigu and Lloyd Austin, reports RIA Novosti.
The parties discussed the incident related to the drone over the Black Sea.
"I just finished a phone conversation with my Russian counterpart, Minister Shoigu. As I have said many times, it is important that the great powers serve as a model of transparency and communication,” Austin said.
He reiterated that the US would fly the devices where international law allows, and urged Russian military aviation to act "safely and professionally".
