At the press conference held on March 14, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Aykhan Hajizade, said, "The accusation that Armenia, which has not yet fulfilled any agreements and obligations, has refused imaginary agreements, the claim that Azerbaijan is escalating the situation in the border regions, is just a step aimed at covering up possible military provocations by Armenia."
"Armenia is not interested in the peace agreement because it opposes the clauses in the text of the peace agreement that exclude territorial claims against Azerbaijan, encourages further violations even during the preparation of the text of the agreement, hides these non-constructive approaches and puts forward such ideas as "international mechanisms" and "an international guarantee institute," the statement said.
