The Ukrainian army does not have the strength for a large-scale counterattack

During a year of large-scale war, the armed forces of Ukraine suffered heavy losses. "The Washington Post" newspaper, citing Western officials, writes that Ukraine may have lost up to 120,000 soldiers (killed and wounded).

In December, Kyiv officially announced that 10-13 thousand soldiers were killed. This, in turn, has led to a decrease in the overall quality of the troops, as there are practically no experienced fighters left on the front lines. In addition, the armed forces of Ukraine, as at the beginning of the Russian invasion, have a severe shortage of weapons, which Ukraine's allies cannot fill.

As "The Washington Post" writes, the leadership of Ukraine and the military have doubts that the armed forces of Ukraine will be able to successfully carry out a major attack, which they have been waiting for from Ukraine for several months.
