Russia kept about a third of its income from exporting goods last year. Bloomberg wrote about it.
According to the news agency, Moscow keeps about 80 billion of the 227 billion dollars abroad in cash, real estate, and company investments. These "shadow reserves," as the agency calls them, result from a record trade surplus built up amid sanctions that began last year.
