In his weekly press conference, US State Department spokesman Ned Price referred to Iran, Azerbaijan, and Armenia, speaking about the South Caucasus region. Price, in particular, stated: "Our approach is to increase our involvement in the South Caucasus with Azerbaijan and Armenia to create stability in the South Caucasus region and make the region less prone to conflicts and tensions."
