"The United States will feel the need for mineral energy for at least ten years," US President Joe Biden said on Tuesday in an interview with Kal Penn during The Daily Show.
"The US will need fossil fuels for at least another 10 years. We can't give them up tomorrow," Biden said, responding to Penn's comment that some young Americans believe the administration is not moving fast enough to transition to renewable energy sources. Biden also touted the benefits of solar and wind energy, which would be significantly cheaper.
