The US urged the Georgian authorities to cancel the bill on foreign agents

US State Department spokesman Ned Price referred to the law on foreign agents in Georgia, which was withdrawn from the parliament after protests.
"While welcoming the decision to withdraw the bill, we urge the ruling party to cancel it officially and not to advance this type of bill, especially because the bill is incompatible with Georgian and Euro-Atlantic values and fundamental freedoms," he said.
