Former US President Donald Trump has stated that he would have allowed Russia to occupy a part of Ukraine to avoid or stop the war. Trump claims he knows "magic words" that will immediately destroy the fighting. Trump also stated that the Russian Federation could occupy some territories which, in his opinion, are "Russian-speaking."
He recalled how Russia took control of parts of Georgia and Ukraine under Bush and Obama, and during Biden's reign, he received a "Swedish table."
"And under Trump, Russia did not capture anything because Putin understood he would not do such a thing. And that's even without an arrangement. In the worst case, I could arrange for them to capture something," said Trump.
