The bill "On Foreign Agents" was withdrawn from the Parliament of Georgia.
This is stated in the joint statement of the ruling "Georgian Dream," the initiator of the bill, the "People's Power" social movement, and the parliamentary majority.
"We should pay more attention to our country's peace, tranquility, economic development, and Georgia's progress through European integration. Therefore, it is necessary to spend the energy of each of our fellow citizens not on confrontation but on the country's development in the right direction," the message says.
