Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that the number of victims of the earthquake reached 46,104.
"46,104 people died due to the earthquakes with the epicenter in Ghahramanmarash," Erdogan said in his speech after the government meeting on Monday.
On February 6, 7.7 and 7.6 magnitude earthquakes took place in Kahramanmarash province, located in the southeast of Turkey, with an interval of 9 hours. The tremors were felt in 11 states and neighboring countries, including Syria.
