Today, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, met with the General Director of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, who is visiting Azerbaijan within the framework of the contact group summit of the movement against Covid-19.
According to the Azerbaijani press, during the meeting, Bayramov spoke about the issues of ensuring nuclear safety in the region, emphasizing the maintenance of safety standards set by the agency during the operation of the Metsamor nuclear power plant, where Armenia "uses outdated technologies."
