Several people were taken hostage in a store in Bryansk region; Russian mass media
A representative of the Russian emergency services told RIA Novosti that several residents were taken hostage in the Bryansk region.
"Several people were abducted in a shop in the village of Liubechan," said the agency's interlocutor.
The Public Relations Center of the FSB of the Russian Federation confirmed that "measures are being held to destroy Ukrainian nationalists who have violated the state border" in the Klimovsky region of the Bryansk region. The operation is being carried out jointly with the forces of the Ministry of Defense.
The representative of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Mykhail Podoliak, stated that the information about the sabotage was a Russian provocation. Contrary to that, the FSB of the Russian Federation described the operation as terrorism and promised to find and destroy the terrorists.
