The price of gas in Europe decreased three times due to the winter, reaching about 515 dollars per 1000 m³. The data of the London ICE exchange evidence this. One of the main factors behind such a decrease was an abnormally warm winter and overfilling of gas storage facilities.
If on November 30, gas futures were traded at around $1,550, on February 28, trading closed at $515, three times lower than at the beginning of winter. The most significant decrease was on February 28, when the gas price fell to $505 since the end of August 2021.
