Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili will leave for the USA in the coming days. She announced this during a speech at a political conference for gender equality.
Zurabishvili will participate in the 67th session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women.
The Commission on the Status of Women is engaged in reviewing the implementation of international standards for protecting and promoting women's rights and developing recommendations for their proper implementation. The commission includes 45 member states of the United Nations, which are elected for a four-year term.
