Azerbaijan accuses the EU of violating the agreements

"The first phase of the EU mission was agreed upon with us; it had a two-month term. The mission did not achieve its goals: strengthening of trust and support in the delimitation issue", - Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov stated today, referring to the deployment of the second EU civilian mission in Armenia.

"And the transition to the 2nd stage of the mission occurred in violation of the agreements made. It is unacceptable that the mission is allegedly in Armenia and has nothing to do with Azerbaijan. The mission concerns the legitimate interests of Azerbaijan, and we have voiced our concerns about it," Bayramov added.
