Ned Price, the spokesperson of the US State Department, referred to the unblocking of the Lachine Corridor, noting that the obstacles to cargo transportation should be resolved.
"As for the Lachin Corridor, the Secretary of State raised this issue in his communications with the Prime Minister of Armenia and the President of Azerbaijan. He emphasized that the Lachin corridor should be open and free for commercial and private passage. He also urged the parties to open border communications. We believe that in this first phase, it is essential that the parties themselves remove obstacles to the movement of goods, including providing humanitarian assistance to those who use the corridor. We will focus on diplomacy to help ensure that opportunity," said Ned Price.
