The President of Georgia complained that he had not invited him to Kiev

Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili has stated that he was ready to visit Ukraine but did not receive an invitation from the Ukrainians.

On February 24, during his speech at the Presidential Palace, Zurabishvili also criticized the Georgian parliament, which, despite the invitation, did not send an official delegation to Ukraine.

"I personally, as President of the country, have expressed strong support for Ukraine in all possible places and formats in all potential areas and structures and will continue to do so. If not for the Georgian government, the president should have been in Kyiv today, and I once expressed my willingness to do it. Unfortunately, I did not receive an invitation. Instead, despite the invitation, the parliament did not consider it necessary to send an official delegation. I am sorry that, as a result, we are only represented in Kyiv, only in the person of the opposition. However, I am glad they are there, "said Salome Zurabishvili.
