In Ecuador, they started building buildings out of cocaine

So many drugs have been seized in the country that they cannot be burned, and there is no place to store the mounds of powder. Therefore, the authorities decided to add part of the mixture to the building materials. The result was surprising; the combination of cocaine produces a strong and stable substance.

"It takes 12 hours to burn a ton of cocaine and three hours to turn it into concrete," the country's Drug Enforcement Administration said.

Notably, concrete blocks made from drugs will not be used to construct civil buildings.
