"It is easier to negotiate with the Kurds than with the Americans," Putin

Russian President Vladimir Putin emphasized that it is easier to agree on humanitarian issues with the Kurds than with the Americans. He expressed such an opinion during the meeting with Maria Lvova-Belova, the children's ombudsman of the Russian Federation.

The commissioner of children's rights told the president how the US initially tried to prevent him from taking Russian children to their homeland with the help of the Kurds. "It is possible to agree with the Kurds. You have agreed. Well, you see. Continue that work," replied Putin.
