The US State Department is concerned about what is happening in Georgia

The US State Department is concerned about adopting the law on foreign agents in Georgia, warning that "it will stifle free speech."

"We have shared our fears with the Georgian government. The proposed law will exclude and silence the free speech of those citizens of Georgia who strive to create a better future for society.

We believe that such a law will create a potential threat to Georgia's Euro-Atlantic integration," said Ned Price, the official representative of the State Department.
