US State Department spokesman Ned Price announced that the US welcomes countries that have provided humanitarian aid to the people of Turkey and Syria.
"We welcome the countries reaching out to the people of Turkey and Syria affected by the catastrophic earthquake. The USA serves as an example by providing around 85 million dollars of support to Turkey and Syria. In the coming days, Secretary of State Blinken will also personally visit Turkey," he said.
