Tokayev signed the law repealing the law on the first president of Kazakhstan.
As a result, on January 13, the Parliament of Kazakhstan approved the decision to deprive Nazarbayev of his special status. As MP Yerlan Sairov explained later, Nazarbaev had privileges different from typical ordinary citizens.
