On February 10, at the initiative of the Armenian side, a telephone conversation was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, S. Lavrov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, A. Mirzoyan. Mirzoyan warmly congratulated Sergey Lavrov on the occasion of the diplomatic worker's day.
The ministers exchanged ideas on several topical issues of the bilateral agenda, expressing mutual disposition towards strengthening alliance relations between Moscow and Yerevan.
The issue of regulating Armenian-Azerbaijani relations was discussed. On November 9, 2020, January 11, 2021, November 26, and October 31, 2022, the Russian side emphasized the importance of the early resumption of implementation of high-level trilateral agreements, including the unblocking of all transport and economic connections in the region, Armenian-Azerbaijani demarcation and demarcation of the border, understanding on the parameters of the peace treaty between Yerevan and Baku, as well as the dialogue of public figures, experts and parliamentarians.
