The US Embassy reported on the meeting of Defense Ministers Lloyd Austin and Juansher Burchuladze at the Pentagon.
"The meeting once again confirmed the unwavering support of the United States for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia," the message said.
The issue of American support for strengthening Georgia's defense potential and issues related to NATO integration were discussed.
