An Iranian drone factory will be established in Tatarstan

The authorities of Russia and Iran intend to build a factory to produce Iranian Shahed-136 uncrewed aerial vehicles in Elabuga, Tatarstan. "The Wall Street Journal," wrote about it, citing sources.

According to "WSJ" interlocutors, a high-ranking Iranian delegation consisting of generals and top managers of arms companies arrived in Russia at the beginning of January. They visited the proposed plant site and discussed the details needed to start the project.

WSJ notes that the White House announced the Kremlin's intentions in December of last year.
