The General Staff of the Armed Forces stated in the daily summary that Russian forces continue to regroup, and the main effort is focused on attacking in five directions: Kupyansk, Limansk, Bakhmutsk, Avdeevsky, and Novopavlovsky.
According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Russian "pressure in various directions of the front" has increased, and "fierce battles" are taking place in the Donetsk region.
Earlier, the "Financial Times" newspaper, citing an unnamed adviser to the Ukrainian army, reported that Kyiv had received "very reliable information about Russia's intentions" to launch a new large-scale attack, which could take place within 10 days.
