Kyiv needs 17 billion dollars to recover in 2023

Ukraine needs 17 billion dollars for recovery this year. During the meeting in Kyiv, Prime Minister  Denys Shmyhal informed the Vice President of the European Commission, Valdis Dombrovskis.

According to Shmyhal, 3 billion euros of the 18 billion euros approved by the European Commission within the framework of the macro-financial assistance program to Ukraine have already been transferred. "It is important that the financial resources are predictable and rhythmic," the prime minister emphasized. He expressed hope that the duty-free import regime of Ukrainian goods to EU countries will be extended until the end of 2024, the current deadline of which is June 5, 2023.
