German Vice-Chancellor Robert Habeck expressed his opposition to the supply of fighter jets to Ukraine. In Markus Lanz's talk show on the "ZDF" channel, he spoke about the need to find a balance to provide maximum support to Ukraine and, at the same time, not to make Germany a participant in the conflict. "It is not so clear where the line is drawn," Habeck said.
The German Vice-Chancellor assumed that if the Western countries supply fighter jets to Ukraine, the machines will have to be serviced, which "may go too far."
The supply of modern tanks to Kyiv is correct, but "there is a difference between tanks and fighters," Habeck emphasized.
