The new US Ambassador to Russia, Lynn Tracy, held her first meeting at the Russian Foreign Ministry, where she met with Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov, reports the US Embassy in Moscow.
"Ambassador Tracy is particularly focused on maintaining dialogue between our capitals at a time of unprecedented tension, protecting the interests of US citizens detained in the Russian Federation, and strengthening ties between the American and Russian peoples," the embassy said in a statement.
So as you know, Lynn Tracy was the US ambassador to Armenia.
