Deputies of the Dutch Parliament rejected the meeting with the Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan

The Embassy of Azerbaijan in the Netherlands appealed to the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the Parliament of the Netherlands to meet with the Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan, but the committee rejected the request.
According to "Armenpress," the document published by the commission states that only the DENK faction of the parliament was in favor of the proposal; the CDA faction indicated that it could not participate in the process. There has yet to be a response from other sections.
The commission noted that a majority needed to be secured for the meeting, and no appointment is planned with Azerbaijan's Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mamedov. The Embassy of Azerbaijan will be informed about it.
