A telephone conversation was held between the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, and the President of Kazakhstan, Kasim-Jomart Tokayev.
The parties discussed topical issues of the Russian-Kazakh strategic partnership and the development of the alliance. In particular, the problems of further cooperation in the energy sector were addressed.
