The private match of the contenders for the world chess champion will take place in Kazakhstan

On April 7-30, the match between Russian Yan Nepomnyashchi and Chinese Ding Liren will be held in Kazakhstan for the title of a world chess champion. This was reported to "TASS" by two unrelated sources. The International Chess Federation (FIDE) will officially announce the tournament venue for the world chess crown on January 20.
In July last year, world champion Magnus Carlsen refused to fight for the crown. After the refusal of the Norwegian, the winner of the contenders' tournament Nepomnyashchi and the runner-up, Ding Liren, will participate in the match.
