Citing its sources in the field of tourism, the Kyodo agency reported that Chinese authorities have stopped issuing visas to Japanese citizens since Tuesday.
It is noted that the relevant notice was sent to travel agencies by the China Visa Center in Japan. The restrictions will also apply to business trip visas. There is also no possibility to take a reservation for submitting documents through the visa center. The reasons for such a decision are not reported.
