During a briefing on Friday, Chinese Foreign Ministry official Wang Wenbin announced that the US should end arms sales to Taiwan and military ties with the island.
The US State Department has approved the possible sale of $180 million worth of Volcano anti-tank systems to Taiwan, the State Department's Bureau of Military and Political Affairs reported earlier.
