The new feature film of the world-famous Japanese animator Hayao Miyazaki will be released in the summer of 2023. The picture will be called "How are you?" This was announced by Toho, Japan's most prominent film distribution company.
The film is based on the book of the same name by Japanese writer Yoshino Genzaburo, published in 1937. The work tells the story of Junichi Honda, a 15-year-old boy nicknamed Cooper, his growing up, spiritual growth, poverty, and human experience.
Miyazaki told The New York Times that the How Are You anime would be his last. For the sake of his filming, the artist returned to work at the "Ghibli" studio. After the premiere of The Wind Rises in 2013, Miyazaki went on vacation.
