The German government has approved arms exports worth 8.35 billion euros in 2022. This is the second-largest index in the country's history.
According to the Ministry of Economy, more than a quarter of the military equipment and weapons delivered in 2022 fell to Ukraine. Only last year, Germany's military exports volume was larger: 9.35 billion euros.
