The meeting of Foreign Ministers of Russia and Azerbaijan Sergey Lavrov and Jeihun Bayramov has started in Moscow.
Lavrov announced at the meeting with Bayramov, “Today we agreed to hold a meeting of the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia to continue the discussions on the peace treaty. We were preparing for that event, but, unfortunately, at the last moment, our Armenian colleagues refused to come to Moscow, explaining it with the prevailing situation. It's a pity that such an opportunity was missed."
In turn, Bayramov said, “We always use the opportunity to hold a bilateral meeting. I think that we will have productive discussions, we will be able to summarize the jubilee year of our relations and discuss a number of issues for the beginning of 2023."
It should be noted that today in Moscow a tripartite meeting was planned: Armenia-Russia-Azerbaijan.
