India called for de-escalation and restoration of freedom and security of movement along the corridor

He joined the call of the UN Secretary-General to ease the tension and ensure the freedom and security of movement through the corridor by the previously reached agreements.
Also supporting the ongoing mediation in the region, he called on both sides to use diplomatic channels to reach a lasting peaceful solution, "The global order is based on international law, the UN Charter, and respect for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of all states," he added.
