Head of the Russian Defense Ministry, Sergey Shoigu, referred to the current situation of the Armed Forces and plans. Shoigu also stated that considering NATO's desire to increase the military potential near the country's borders; it is necessary to create a new grouping of troops in the northwest of Russia.
