Closing the Lachine Corridor has severe humanitarian consequences and slows down the peace process. US Embassy in Baku

The US Embassy in Azerbaijan responded to the closure of the Lachin Corridor on its Twitter microblog. The embassy, in particular, wrote:
"Closing the Lachin Corridor has serious humanitarian consequences and slows the peace process. We call on the government of Azerbaijan to restore free movement through the corridor. The way to the future is through negotiations."
