The special representatives of Turkey and Armenia continue the dialogue on the regulation of bilateral relations. Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu announced this, reports Anadolu Agency.
"The parties have taken coordinated steps in advance to open the airspace. Turkey has adopted several decisions in the field of air transport, which were aimed at increasing confidence. I think Yerevan should also take sincere steps regarding the dialogue with Ankara," he said.
According to him, Armenia should respond to Turkey's steps. "The positions of Azerbaijan and Turkey are extremely open. Therefore, there is no doubt that Yerevan's sincere steps will not go unanswered. Clear steps are important for peace and stability in the South Caucasus. Armenia should sign a peace agreement as soon as possible," said the Turkish minister.
Cavusoglu noted that the parties must realize that all decisions must come from the countries of the region.
Referring to the aggravation of the situation in the area of the Latin Corridor, the Turkish minister reminded that the Russian military arrived in the region to ensure peace. "The mission of the Russians is to maintain peace. At the same time, the Russian side should cooperate with Baku, and the Armenians living there should not interfere with the visits of experts," Cavusoglu emphasized, adding that Turkey supports Azerbaijan in its steps.
