We are doing everything we can to reduce the tension. Ned Price

During the daily press conference, US State Department spokesman Ned Price answered whether Washington is following the situation around Armenia-Azerbaijan and Russian President Putin's recent talks with the Armenian and Azerbaijani sides on this issue.

"We are consistently focused on this challenge, on the need to de-escalate tensions, put these two countries on the path to a sustainable, comprehensive settlement. We organized a meeting of these two countries at the level of foreign ministers here in Washington.

We did the same in New York during the UN General Assembly. In addition, our senior adviser, Philip Ricker, is actively engaged in dialogue with officials in both countries to ensure that we are doing everything we can, and most importantly, that these two countries are doing everything they can to de-escalate these tensions." , - added Price.
