Donfried emphasized the importance of advancing the peace process between Yerevan and Baku
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov spoke with US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Keren Donfried today.
During the telephone conversation, Bayramov and Donfried exchanged ideas on the current state and prospects of the peace process between Baku and Yerevan, as well as on various issues of the cooperation agenda between Azerbaijan and the USA.
Bayramov informed his interlocutor about the current state of negotiations with Armenia, efforts to open communication, and border demarcation issues.
Donofrio, for her part, emphasized that the US supports efforts to ensure stability in the region, noting the importance of advancing the peace process according to the agreements reached between the two countries' officials.
