Azerbaijani environmentalists met with the command of Russian peacekeepers
According to the information spread by the Azerbaijani media, the Ministry of Nature Protection of Azerbaijan employees met with the command of the Russian peacekeepers in Khojalu (Ivanyan settlement). The monitoring group of Azerbaijanis, consisting of employees of the Ministry of Nature Protection of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Economy, the State Service for Property Issues, and "AzerGold" CJSC, is discussing the issues with the command of the Russian peacekeeping forces.
The commander of the Russian peacekeepers, Andrei Volkov, is participating in the negotiations. The main topic of the talks is the issues of monitoring, inventory, and environmental investigation in the area of responsibility of the Russian peacekeepers and the resulting communications.
