Iran is not ready to engage in dialogue under pressure and threats

The spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry said in his weekly briefing that the Iran-West "nuclear deal" negotiations have their logic, and Tehran's position regarding the sanctions-lifting negotiations is apparent.

"American officials know Iran does not intend to negotiate or make concessions under pressure and threats. Iran adheres to the terms of the agreement and has fulfilled its obligations. The US government violated the nuclear agreement. In this regard, unfortunately, the European parties to the agreement did not fulfill their obligations and could not compensate for the unilateral and illegal withdrawal of the United States from the agreement," Kanani said.

According to him, Iran remains committed to the path of negotiations, "IRI does not need the agreement. The West, Europe, and the USA need it more than Iran. The parties can finish the negotiations and reach an agreement as soon as possible," Kanani added.
