The session of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly will take place in Moscow
The XV plenary session of the Council of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly and the CSTO PA, under the chairmanship of the Chairman of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly, the Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin, will take place today in Moscow.
The heads of parliaments of the CSTO countries will participate in the council session.
The CSTO PA Council will listen to RA NA Speaker Alen Simonyan's "2021-22 report on the results of the implementation of the priorities of the RA presidency in the CSTO. Draft recommendations in the defense field, the fight against terrorism, protecting electoral processes in the CSTO countries, and several other documents will be discussed.
In connection with the transition of the chairmanship of the CSTO to Belarus, the Chairman of the House of Representatives of Belarus, Vladimir Andreychenko, will present the country's priorities during the 2023 presidency.
