If Russia withdraws from the region, the US has a limited opportunity․ Risch

The USA has a valuable role in settlement of tense relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, said senator Jim Risch.
The disputed territories and the need to find a stable solution that protects the rights of Armenians and Azerbaijanis living there are at the core of the conflict.
«With Russia withdrawing from the region, there is now a limited opportunity for the United States to take a stronger role and end the bloodshed», he said.
